Building Creative Spaces for Everyone

Aspire Productions CIC exists to give people a voice — especially those whose stories are often left untold. Based in Northampton, we use music, podcasting, and digital media to connect generations, preserve culture, and inspire creativity across our community.

Thanks to support from The National Lottery Community Fund, we’ve been able to transform our recording studio into a professional, community-driven space where people can learn, create, and share their stories. This investment has helped us grow into a creative hub that welcomes everyone — from young people exploring new skills to elders recording their memories for future generations.

The Podcast Project

Our current project, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, aims to produce a series of community-led podcasts featuring real stories from local residents.
So far, we’ve produced five episodes, with more in progress. Each one captures honest, powerful voices from Northampton’s diverse communities.

A New Studio, A Bigger Vision

This year, Aspire has moved into a larger, better-equipped studio to meet growing community demand. All of the Lottery-funded equipment came with us, ensuring continued value and access for local people. Our new home provides more space for training, recording, and events, creating opportunities for collaboration and growth.

Community Events

Each year we host and contribute to local cultural events such as the Windrush Celebration. A day of storytelling, poetry, music, and food that honours the legacy of the Caribbean community in Northampton.
Our studio’s community podcasts and creative workshops feed directly into these celebrations, giving participants a public platform for their work.
